Sunset Garden Table (SGT) grew out of seeing food as an expression of love, the magic of mother nature and nurturing the land, and the kismet combination of the two. As humans, we forget the fleetingness of our world- I invite you to join me in the kitchen and garden where time stands still.
Momentum from a simple moment of curiosity: On my 25th birthday, I picked up a tomato plant on a whim—and never looked back. What started as a single plant has since evolved into multiple garden spaces and years of learning by doing: tending to soil health through my own composting system, growing dozens of varieties of vegetables and fruits, and discovering the deep satisfaction of producing food with my own hands.
My approach blends practicality with reverence for the natural rhythms of growing and cooking. I’ve continued to deepen my knowledge through coursework at Garden for the Environment, where I studied urban agriculture, sustainable farming practices, composting, and pruning, as well as at California School of Herbal Studies, where I explored herbalism and the connection between plants, nourishment, and everyday life.
Sunset Garden & Table is an extension of that journey—a space rooted in seasonality, simplicity, and the belief that good food begins in healthy soil and is best shared. Whether I’m in the garden or the kitchen, my goal is the same: to cultivate ingredients with care and bring people together around what’s grown.
